Magazine are very incorporated into our daily lives. They broadcast the latest news on hair, beauty, celebrities and much more. They were founded in 1731 by Edward Cave who created the first magazine named The Gentleman's Magazine.They were viewed as very high class and expensive, while the less costly ones were aimed towards the regular people or general public. Eventually by the 1800s, most people knew how to read and their literacy increased. The style of magazines also transformed from improvement to amusement.
Women magazines were the best seller's and took most of the attention.While other magazines focused on things such as autobiographies and science. As the 1900s approached, magazines were on the rise judging that people read on their leisure time.There are several different types of magazines created to cater to every group of people. As time progresses, magazines adapt and change to the liking of the people and continuously keeping them up to date with the latest news.
