Compositions

When shooting a film you have to consider the composition of your shots which focuses on the focus. I will be demonstrating each type of focus of choice which includes: framing, rule of thirds, deep focus, shallow focus, and focus pulls.

Framing: It recognizes the the length of the scene. It draws attention to the scene and grants the photo some type of context.

Rule of thirds: It frames your scene into a grid of two lines vertically and horizontally. The purpose is to better align a scene into the right position.

Deep focus: It makes the whole entire scene crispy clear , regarding the character and their background. It grants viewers the time to visual everything that is going on in a scene at their own speed.

Shallow focus: It focus solely on the character or object in the frame and the rest of the focus is "soft" or blurry. This focus can be used to show the character's emotions.

Focus pulls: It changes its focus during a shot; putting its focus on one object to another. It is used to change the focus so the viewer pays attention to another object in a film.
